the engineers ran out and started getting sand bags later they would barricade the front of the sandbags with wood.Once the barricades were done (just the sandbags) they started bringing out the wood. They got it done in no time they nailed the wood to the sand bags (some sand spilled out) The King walked out "Very good my friends" he told the guard to go get more of the soldiers once they came out he said "Ok men this is the moment of truth remember your training" the king sat down behind a barricade with 3 soldiers "Sir what are you doing?" said one of the soldiers "You think i would leave you guys here!?" said zandlin shocked "Ummm no sir i just didnt want you to get hurt" said the soldier "I will be fine now lets get ready for this fight. Everyone load weapons!!" Said zandolin

Sothe snuck onto the gate, "Hey gaurd, where is King Zandolin?" The gaurd held up his spear to Sothe, "What do you want trespasser!?" Sothe looked shocked, "I'm one of the Kings personal gaurds. Sothe..." The gaurd bowed, "I'm very sorry about that." Sothe shook his head, "No matter. Now where is Zandolin I have urgent news..." The gaurd pointed nearby and Sothe rode in that direction. When he came apon the King he bowed, "King Zandolin I got a dragon egg. It looks like it'll hatch soon and we can use it for our aid."

"Good --" he got cut off by one of the people on top of the gates "Sir the bandits are picking off our men 1 by 1 whatt shall we do?" he said frantically "Get down here! help us defend" then he turned to the soldiers "everyone muskets up!" the soldiers put there Mehjars on top of the sandbags at the ready

Sothe got his musket ready, egg in his back pouch. "On your command..." He cocked his gun, waiting.

"Aim! steady...steady...FIRE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" He said with a shout adn then there was just a cloud of smoke and lots of crackling noises as they shot at the bandits

Sothe shot his gun faster than the average person here. He reloaded and ducked an oncoming bullet. "Wow, these are easy to handle..."

"I know right?" zandolin reloaded and shot again.

Sothe noticed a stealthy bandit sneak behind him and pull a dagger right to Zandolin. Before he could stab him, Sothe jumped in his way, sword ready. In a handful of swift movements the bandit fell.

Zandolin wirled around "Woh...thanks man you saved my hide i owe you one"

"You owe me nothing." He shot a couple oncomers, "It's my job."

"Well thank you..." he said then he turned to the other soldiers "Fix bayonets prepare to charge!"

"Hey I'm going to put the egg in a sager spot." Said Sothe, "After that, though, I'll carry out my duties." He said charging off. When He got back to the castle he put the egg in his room in the tower. Running down the stairs he pulled out his sword.
